I have an AOD and don't know if its an AOD-E. How can you tell which one it is. If its an AOD-E where do the wires plug into from the trany.

I'm not up to date on the tranny's but I do believe that the "E" means it's electronically controlled. The wires from the tranny will go to a computer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Look at the shift lever side of the trans.
If there are two levers it is an AOD.
One lever is the TV control that the AODE does not have.
The AODE is fully electric control with computer operated internal solenoids.
Baumann has an external controller for the AODE use without computer or otherwise but it is a lot of dollars in addition to the trans.
