OK, I have decided that if I am going to keep my car, I will probably be doing the small bumper conversion. I know there was an article that someone here did, but I can't find it in Search. Anybody know where it is?

    Hi Max,
I suspect that there may be more than one post on the subject, but here's a link to a pretty comprehensive coverage of the topic.

I've included a jpg of the hole template that was in another post on the subject. Good luck. John B

    I'm with ya Max!
I always thought that as sweet as your car looks with big bumpers, that small bumpers would be that much better!
    Good luck
    Dave

Edit: Checked that thread and would like to offer some choices...
The part in there about notching your big bumper fenders to fit the rock guard is one way to go about it. BUT you can save cutting your pristine fenders by notching the rock guard for the fender, instead of the other way around.
Just takes a narrow notch on each side of a part that you are most likey needing to paint anyway. Save you from having bare metal edges on your already painted fenders.
Have seen it done this way and it looks just as good. Maybe even a little less noticable IMO as it all hides behind the bumper.
