To run the ones straight off a newer Mustang requires adapter/spacers since there is too much Back Spacing on those wheels. Texas Mustang They sell the bullet style wheels with the correct B/S so you wont need adapters. I would just order those, it would be cheaper than buying a set of wheels then adapters.

If you buy a rim that is 8 inches wide than you will need a 4.5 inch backspace to bolt up with no adapters. I have a set of 4 but I'm only using 2 for the front. The back is a different size. But I did try them all the way aroung & the fit fine. If you don't lower the car too much than you can put a nice size tire on it too. Maybe like a 235/45 front & 255/45 out back. I had 255/45/17 on the back with no problem. There are pics in my gallery if you just a an idea of what it looks like with the 4.5 backspacing.

Find out the back spacing and/or wheel offset before you buy. You can buy 17's with the proper backspacing and no mod's has to be done to your ride.

This will be an option. This wheel comes in 17x7 with 4 inch backspace, 17x8, 17x9, 18x7, & 18x9. The rim that is 9 inches wide has 5 inch backspacing. The rim is called RT5 by a company named Wheel Tech. the nine's might be pushing it a little but it would likely fit with rolling the lip, maybe. If not, it will with a small mini tube. eight's & sevens will fit.
