    The Oklahoma mini-meet is getting close!
    The dates on the website and possibly in Shorthorns show the 6th, however it will be on the 7th. Please let me know if you can make it so I get a car count ahead of time. (y)

     Event: Oklahoma State Mini-Meet Location: Mid-America Expo 2006 - Pryor, OK Contact: Randy Campbell



    The MCCI Oklahoma Mini-Meet will be held in conjunction with the 13th Annual Mid-America Classic Car Show on Saturday, October 7th at the Mid-America Park as part of Mid-America Expo 2006. The park is located 4-miles south of Pryor on US Highway 69 on the MidAmerica Airport grounds. This is a big show with 35 classes of cars and trucks, with first, second, and third place trophies awarded in each class. There are many other events, so bring the wife and kids! Registration starts at 8:00 AM or you can pre-register using the link below. There are no show field reservations, so we will need to have a car count before October 7. We will meet at MCCI Oklahoma State Rep Randy Campbells house before the show and drive there together. Please let Randy know if you are planning to attend.

    As it gets closer I will be getting in touch with everyone. We'll have to meet and drive there if we want to park together. They don't take field reservations. :slap:

    A week and a half away! Has anyone done pre-registration? If you're coming please let me know. I'll post directions and times later in the next few days.

    Pre-reggy who? Yea, I'm coming, for sure. I still have to put the cool Dan Hines stickers on my 2 near perfect mercury comet center caps. And on my other 2 not so perfect mustang centers. Seems a shame that I can't find someone to trade with! I guess if I do the stickers will come off.

    I talked to the show coordinator yesterday. She said we could make field reservations if we only had one or two cars that would be late. If anyone else is going, please let me know or reply to the thread.

    Since you guys will be coming up on the turnpike, I figure we could meet at the Hwy 20 exit in Claremore at about 9:00 and drive over to Pryor together. :drive:

    Directions

    Here are some maps to the Claremore, Hwy 20 exit. There is a parking lot on the east side of the road immediately after you go through the turnpike gate. Let's meet there at 9:00. Registration is from 8:00 to 11:00. If you guys want to meet earlier I can do that too.
