I was told about a Maverick Stallion the other day and i was just wounding if there are rare at all. From what i was told it have been sitting in storage for many years. I'm thinking about trying to get it if it is in as good a shape as the guy told me. I'm kinda new to the Maverick sene so and info would be great.
About 5500 Stallion's and were made in 1976 only. They were built in a number of color combinations although Red and Black seem to be the popular one. Survivors are quite rare. Dan Starnes keeps a registry of them and can provide you expert information. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=9534&highlight=stallion+registry
quite rare... one year production (1976) Snag it, if it's even in decent shape. Don't see many around so I'd say it worth saving....
thats a shame, made me grin there is a black/yellow one near me that the guy wont get rid of,.but he wont fix it up either. ran accross a black/silver one a few years back.same deal..old lady had it, letting it rot,...oh, but she just loved that car in my opinion, the best factory paint scheme on a maverick
I got a PM. It was not good. Figgured it was best just to get rid of it. But it seems quite a few people got a kick out of it by the PM's I've got since.
