Yeah, some people don't like discussions. Makes me wonder what a discussion forum is for. People don't act like this at car shows and cruise-nights. It doesn't have to be a cold Question/Direct Answer/Done Deal. People have opinions and like to discuss them. People should at least know what their options are before doing something to their car, such as replacing a dashpad...
On this forum...we are not allowed to give "opinions." Only stone-cold facts, with data sheets and photos to prove them
Stone cold fact (presuming I still had Alice) - I wouldn't risk *****ing up my lovely 35 year old Dash that has stayed in good shape because of proper care by plopping on a 'cap' :bananaman
You shouldn't post an opinion like that, Paulie. You should only tell the guy how to remove his dashpad (even though someone already did that) and just leave it at that. Then the thread should be locked...end of discussion. At least that is the unfortunate direction that things are going around here...
Throw in a beer or two, and dinner is served Sorry, thread has gone on too long, time for comic relief...
Besides. No thread killin moderator has said this thread got whack yo. Guys question got answered. People got to vent thier Pent up Dash Frustrations. It's a Win Win situation.
Mavowar has shown his ability to be a Group Counselor... Point out that, somehow, everyone involved is right, and everyone has learned a valuable lesson for $65 per person
And, by the way, what are we all doing typing on the internet at 11:30pm on a Saturday night??? don't we have a life? If my car was running, I would be at the track (not running because of a header gasket, go figure!!!).
In all seriousness Dan. I doubt many here could teach you anything. That's meant in a good way. NOt that you care what I think these days but still...
I detect your sarcasm. Why would you waste time reading a thread about a topic you already know everything about? Either answer the guy's question, post an opinion, or read something else. Pretty simple....
