Yeah, everyone thinks mine is sick (epoxy floor, tools arranged in order, etc) but that one makes me want to burn my garage and house down, and use the insurance money to build a 4 car garage with a kitchen :evilsmile

    All around the house....

    4. In the driveway under the oak tree
    3. In the carport
    2. In the side yard under the pine tree
    1. Behind the house on the concrete patio pad [wife likes this place best, out of sight of the road, lol]

A country boy "shade tree mechanic" can always find a place!

YUP, know what you mean. I can't count how many times I have done a "mod" and gotten down the road enough for it to warm up, and then the "mod" doesn't seem like such a good idea anymore...

I have never gotten to where I had to call home (other than to say my 5-minute "test-drive" is going to be 30-minutes), or get towed, But there have been many times where I have fixed things on the shoulder of the highway or in the driveway of a gas station

But, you know what...If I wanted a cool car with no mechanical "issues" I would buy a new 'vette or Mustang (or wait for the Challenger :evilsmile ). Having the threat of a breakdown at any time is part of the challenge and thrill of owning a Maverick :D

Dang Frank...that is looking awesome. All I wanna know now is why is there a chair sitting in there??? You can't work on a Maverick sitting in that thing. I'm kinda thinking you spend a lot of time sitting out there admiring that awesome garage wondering what you're gonna do with it now cause you don't want to get it dirty...or, Effie won't let you come inside the house anymore because you got the big head. :D
NOW!!! Let's get some Mavericks in there and make that thing look like a REAL garage! (y)

Nowhere lately (way too far away from it) but when I was in Cali I worked on it mostly outside our local Autozone as my parents' neighborhood didn't allow people to work on their cars in the front driveway. Quite annoying, that. Changed oil, installed radiators and shocks etc at the parts store. At least I always knew I had someplace to go when I needed a tool I hadn't gotten yet. ;)
