my absolute favorite weekend is coming up :dancingpa !!!! (Thanksgiving weekend, turkey rod run in Daytona..) and I was wondering if anyone else was going to be attending so maybe we could try to park close to each other, I know this is almost impossible to accomplish but it's worth a shot. I will be going down after dinner Thursday so will be able to have my car there bright and early (it will be bright and too early for me) and might be able to save spots. Jason- whoever gets there first calls the other so you don't have to run yelling "hottie" with people looking at you funny :D

There will be around 100 guys and girls from Iceland there like every year, they will have to leave their rides at home though.

Unfortunately :( I'm not going, maybe next year.

Some come to buy cars and parts, others just for the fun and have a little holiday in the sun. We are 66deg north so the day is short this time of the year.
A guy has organised this for few years now and the group is usually 100-150 people I think.

Well Im not sure yet, but I might be able to make it. The way finances are going right now it would probably be either rod run or silver springs show. One or the other. I guess I am going to need to make up my mind soon so I need some input as to which one to go to.

if you are planning on taking your car to silver springs and have not already registered then i would check and see if they are already booked, i heard that they have people on a "will call" list of sorts.... something to consider... silver springs is ranked with the turkey rod run, i go back and forth on which one is my favorite....
speaking of i may not make it to the silver springs show:cry: since i may have clinicals:cry: they tried to hold clinicals on thanksgiving weekend  i sent an informative e-mail to my instructor to let her know it was :bs:
i know that it is still kinda expensive but i found a hotel that was buy 2 nights get one free if you were planning on coming down Thursday...
