Before I started to replace the core I took some pictures so I could remember where all the lines went and how it looked before I started. Some of the wires were for the stero speakers. Hope these might help someone in the future.

Took a friend and me 6.5 hours to replace....like Craig said "not much fun"...we also did it without killing the ac lines since it still worked..someone here gave me instructions on how to do it.

Wow....doing it without cracking the lines open.....that would be hard.

Did you go ahead and replace the dash speaker while you were in there?

I could have finished that puppy in about 5 hours if the parts store didn't give me a Granada core instead of a maverick one.
