Is there any place that sells them new?
Also, If I am unable to come up with the strip that goes across the hood, that kinda connects the 2 bezels. What should I do?
Has anyone tried painting the whole bezel?
    Thanks.

I have seen new ones at Carlisle but they are getting to be expensive. As long as yours dont have any dings in them, you can buff out the bright parts to like new condition. Then just repaint the colored part. I have some decent ones if you need them. Let me know.

They're getting VERY expensive. I just saw one go for about a hundred bucks on ebay. If you have one that's not completely destroyed you can guy a trim hammer and work the dings out to get it back to original condition. I'm in the process of working on mine right now. It takes a little finesse but it's not that difficult. Then after you work the dents out you sand it down and buff it, polish it, and if you like seal it so it doesn't corrode (these are made of aluminum).

These guys are right. Nobody makes repros of either the bezels or hood trim. There was a guy at Carlisle that had an NOS hood trim stirp and he wanted $145 for it! If they aren't too beat up, repainting them and polishing them should get you the desired results. I'd recommend using a buffing wheel and rouge to get the desired polish. I did this with a hood strip and it turned out very nicely. I have bezels and a strip if your's are damaged. E-mail me if I can help.

I picked up an almost flawless pair of bezels at the Pick-a-Part the last time I was in Calgary. Paid a whopping 99 cents each. Guess I must have got an OK deal, eh? :D

99 cents?? That's called theft without virtue of a weapon!! You SHOULD be proud of yourself.

If anybody is that interested I had no idea they were so valuable I've got like 3 extra (one got chopped up) sitting around in the garage and they are basically rustless New Mexico parts that came free with my car.

ADC, how much do you want for them? I'll buy as many off you as you'll sell if they're in good shape.
