Found a Timeslip for a stock 74 mav from the velocidad maxima forum.

    1974 Ford Maverick 302ci

    0-60 MPH 10.5
    1/4 mile 17.4

I always wondered how fast a stock mav was.:)

Ha ha, yeah before rebuilding my 72 auto went 10.7 in the 1/8 (but the rings were broken) LOL. My 71 3spd went 10.1 in the 1/8 mi.

the 60ft time seems real slow. heck,a person could run it quicker than that.

Ran my stock 74 302 CI Maverick, 3.00 gears, transgo shift kit, flow masters,
advanced timing, no smog. Run a blistering l6.30 et at 82 mph, 2.3 60ft. times.
Goal is l4.99 with stock motor. Going to put headers, 3.50 gears, locker rear,
D.O.T. slicks and probably going to have to put 4 barrel, small cam, intake and
get rid of the big bumpers.
