Reports are that Jack Roush is re-creating the Maverick, stating that it was one of his favorote cars.

Not too much going on here. Just trying to keep my head above water. Still have the car and progress is going slowly but surely.

That would be a mighty long haul for T.L. just to help a guy he dosen't seem to particularly like load a car.

If you're talking cheap parts, I need two doors... if you happen to have them laying around, relatively rust free. That would speed up my progress quite a bit.

Doors are kind of an important part to a car tho, even if you strip it for a strip only car.

Actually, I was going to use fiberglass doors on the 2 mavs I'm building now. I have a set of 70 doors w/glass and door handles sitting on my parts car here that I was going to use to test the ballistic properties of some .40 black talons I have here before I sell the gun that houses them.

Instead of destroying them, I'd be happy to sell them to you. They're pretty nice- not totally rotted at all. I dunno... I'll sell you both of them with all the hardware and the glass for $200 bucks? The catch is of course: I'm not shipping these things. In fact, you'll need to come down and remove them from the car in one of my garages. I'll be nearby watching you curse and swear while struggling with them. Also, I will be shooting you with paintballs while you are doing so.

    :bananaman

well.... i was kidding about the paintball part- but seriously: you'll need to come and get them.

Getting the doors off is not a big deal, but getting to New England will probably be a deal breaker.

    doh.
