Well- in all seriousness- shipping things is not new to me: I was a full time autoparts ebayer for 4 years- however, I'm not sure what carrier I would use to ship a complete door..? I'm not sure that even UPS would carry it because of the weight/dimension etc. It would need to go truck freight I assume.

Now, IF you want to make all the arrangments from where you are- I'll unbolt the doors for you, weigh them etc- and I don't mind doing the leg work to the terminal and I'll wrap them in plastic. You'll need to find and contact a shipper local to me, pay them etc. I will bring the doors to them and see them off.

Up to you bro- let me know.

Let me get some info, I'll get back to you.

It would probably be cheaper to ship both on one palet, might keep the shipping in the $100-150 range.

Check with UPS truck freight- its a trucking interest that UPS acquired recently... I just found out that my rollbar kit is coming from Summit via this method. Their number is 8003337400. There is a terminal very close to me, as it turns out. :)

Its on my to do list for Tuesday morning.

I've had truck freight shipped here before, 20 high dollar network switches on a palet. No weight to them, just the sheer number of them. All probably weighed about the same as one door.

Congrats, you are offically addicted. I've bought 8 of them in the last 2 years and always on the prowl for more.

What's the V.I.N. on that car? Almost looks like you may have yourself a '73-'75 Grabber. The bumpers are definately not original. The dash is a glove box dash with a package tray someone put there. Has the round openings behind the front kick panels, so it's at least a '73.

It IS!! It was a 74 that got the small bumper/valence/moulding treatment. I'll post the vin in a while after the kids go to bed and I can go out to the garage.

I paid $1600 for it as you see it, sans motor.

I don't really want to highjack the thread (maybe sidetrack it a little bit). I am now leaning towards a high compression 427W with TFS "R" heads with a solid roller cam. I was going to have some 1 7/8" headers built for it but with T.L.'s expert advice I think I am going to have some 1 1/4" headers fabbed up!

Got a little sidetracked for some time but am becoming more ambitious now.

    Sometimes?...yes. "ALL the time"?... hardly.

I am sure you are correct.

I hope you feel better now.
