Wiring a EFI302 in a 74 mav? im new to the mav world, but hooked on these cars. i rescently purchased a 74 250i6 auto for my wife, but now i think it likes me better. its a daily driver that needs a lot of work, and im all in. i work in a fab shop building fire trucks so the ability is there, but need help finding parts that i cant make. i do have a buddy with a EFI302 i might buy if i could put my mind at ease about the wiring of it all. any help with this subject would be awesome.
well first of all to the board Far as working on these cars they for the most part SIMPLE. Some things can still be gotten at a local parts shop, some arnt made and you will have to dig em' up... far as a 302 EFI , there are many members here whom have EFI. I think wiring will help you if you can find a complete harness from the parts car... i.e if you get a EFI from a 90 stang get the whole harness, but i believe companies like Painless have complete kits. Good Luck keep us posted Eddie
thanks for the welcome, and the info. ive heard the 250 i6 has as much torque as a 302. is that true?
