well after many many MANY days and evenings of working on the mav...feeling like i wasent getting no where , just throwing money away. After a few fuel leaks , i got that all straightened out. Also had a short the other day found that problem...

i went out this morning and finished my throtlle cable , i figured while i was out there and its 55 degrees, i would see if the Windsor felt ready to make noise:bananaman

and well i didnt turn the fuel on just what was in the line and bowl and engine , i dont have an alternator yet(on the way) using my truck battery (didnt want to run that down)

i was really just seeing if all the fuel leaks were all gone, and well everything checked out alright...i figured no time like the present time , now this is the first time i turned on the MSD , i held my breath and pushed my starter button and well it turned over twice and IT FIRED  it happen so fast it scared me ... so i shut it off:slap: turned everything back on and it fired again it ran for about 2 secs then ran out of fuel. i having a hard time typing im so exicted i cant talk either stu stu studdering:D

ITS LOUD:yup: and mean:evilsmile (sounding at least)

had my camera but it all happen so fast i didnt get it out , but when i get a battery and get my alternator hooked up , yall will see a video.
i dont want to drain the battery off my truck

ok i think im about done rambling i need to take a breath :D

    what an exicting morning:bananaman

truck battery wouldnt drain that fast.. my alternator went out on my maverick after i bought the car, and the battery kept it going for awhile before i could get an alternator.

turn the fuel on and break in that cam of yours...

    2500 rpms for 20 minutes

at least thats what i was told, did mine like it andhavent had a single problem.. unless you have dual springs on the heads... then i know you need to take out a spring.. but i dont know which one..

congrats.. and i feel your excitement.. i was the same way when i did my engine.
and yes.. they are loud without exhaust on them....lol
