Will mustang shock towers work ??

not a problem ... I still have to get talk to Steve ( the guy with the boss) and see if he will let me measure his parts. To cold out here to do anything !!!

 

Mustang/Cougar shocktowers

This is a picture of the passenger side shocktower from a 1969-70 Cougar or 1969-70 Mustang big block. Identified with the presence of the wrap around bracking.

Word doc has picture of inside and measurements.

btw, this is how the pro stock mavs of the early 70's were built.
what type of car are you planning on putting together?

 

I was thinking 'bout a big block. Wanna keep it stock looking if at all possible. The more and more I think about it it may be easier putting a M2 front end on. But I wanna test my fabbing skills with this.

 

are you gonna race it at all?

 

It will pretty much be a strip car except for when I am look'n for trouble :evilsmile
So I still need it safe enough for the street.
