Hi, I have just started working on my 1974 Ford Maverick Twin Turbo Project. I am new to the blue oval and hoping that I can gain some knowledge here and share some of my experiences.

Not to be harsh , but if your doing a twin turbo set up, it isnt goin to last long on a stock bottom end...

Well eddie1975 this is not going to be my final motor just one to get things up and running. Besides I have read many forums that state the stock ford bottom ends are plenty strong even with cast pistons. They will take mild abuse as long as you don't run it lean and are conservative on the timing. I have another short block waiting to be built I just need some more cash and time. I only plan to push about 7PSI but that still should move the little mav just fine.

My wife's 3.8 V6 bonneville runs 7 psi, and it is nice enough to convince me that I will DEFINITELY need to be blown on my final setup:D

Not too fond of the plumbing needed for turbos in our small engine bays, but if you have the patience, it should run just fine...:thumbs2:
