My first car in '85 was a '76 Maverick 4dr two-tone green, automatic. I loved it, but drove it for 2 years before I ran into the back of a Pontiac Fiero and damaged it beyond repair. (well repair for a poor college student). I didn't do much with the car except create some lasting memories of friends and trips we went on. I'm sitting at work and got to thinking about the car and decided to see if I could find one for sale. Well, i hope there is one out there for me! Anyone have any leads on a 1973-1977 (prefer '76), automatic, 4 door, green interior, bench front seat. Anyway, nice meeting everyone, and thanks for taking the time to read this car prayer.
Welcome to the board. You might want to post in the wanted forum. There are 4 doors on Ebay from time to time as they are not very sought after the price is generally cheaper. I have a 73 4 door that has been my daily driver until recently. There are even a few fixed up 4 drs(not stock). Lot of good people here and good info, enjoy. Where are you located?
Lookn for 4dr I've been a member for several minutes now! What is your location, are you interested in project cars or only drive as is... My fovorite junkyard has two 4 drs one runs, but needs TLC and cosmetics...the other would be a good parts pal. I'm in NE Washington State...
Come to Carlisle, PA for the All Ford Nationals June 1-3. Lots of Mavericks and Comets will be there....as well as I am sure there will be some in the car corral for sale.
welcome. sorry to beat you to it but i just picked up a 73 4 door from maryland and drove it to fla. to use as a daily driver. dark green w/ ivy gold interior. it's great to have another 4 door fan around here. there are a few of us but we are in the minority. i also have a 71 foor door restomod that is pretty well known on this board. if you type in my ane you should be able to look around and see both cars. if you click on the camera icon to the left it will bring up the pics of the 71 but you will have to look for a posting titled 'got a new daily driver" to see the 73. you could also look in the gallery under my heading. i just updated it with pics of both cars. good luck with your search. if i hear of any good finds i will pass them on. or for the right price this one could be available. open to offers.
