I was wondering would the 65' shelby GT350R's front valance fit on the front of the Maverick? I've seen the swap on Mustang II's and it looks decent
It is not straight bolt on, but if you can handle a little fiberglass work, it can be made to fit. The body lines where it attaches at the bottom of the front fenders will not be even close the the Maverick lines, though. Also the width is slightly off. For a starting point, use this style front apron that has been designed to be used on a 67/68 for the closest match. Good luck.
You could use one of the Elanor valances or you could use the 65 Shelby type valance that has been made for a 67/68. They are both available. The Elanor style would be more effective as a wind splitter/spoiler to keep the air out from under the car. Both can be modified to help direct airflow into the radiator/oil cooler/AC condenser Elanor lower nose piece. http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchan...&Store_Code=MPFMP&Category_Code=eleanor_parts 65-68 street style front apron. http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchan...t_Code=strtapron_bump&Category_Code=fib_apron
