Can you guys post any links you have to fiberglass suppliers for the mavs. I am looking for a good race one piece fiberglass front end. and anything else i can use to shave some pounds off my little mav. Also i saw a guy at the drag strip with a fake grill in his 73 mav. It looked real but it was a thin plastic mock up . Know where i might can find some race only stuff like that.

MAS Racing Products, 651-644-6811, no web site, has the one piece front end. others are:
    Unlimited Products WWW.up22.com
    US Body WWW.usbody.com
There is an outfit in Canada but I'll have to dig a bit to locate the file.
Lots of bad feedback on Unlimited's stuff. I have a trunk from them and it's fine for racing but not show car quality.
Got a hood from US Body (used, bought from individual) Quality on it was as good as Unlimiteds. US Body costs more.
    Good Luck.

Have a U. S. Body cowl hood on our 76 Mav. fit and work manship were great but costly.

What does a stock maverick weigh?

I know the body (1975 I6 auto 2 dr) says just over 4000 but I dont think it really weighs that much does it.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
MAS Racing Products :cussing:if there was a two thumbs down face i'd give it three!

    Unlimited Products  agreed!

US Body  i don't know about the good workmanship... i would have to agree with you about the costly on tyring to fix it. cuz mine needed to be trimed all the way around to fit including the cowl so it woundn't hit the cowl not to meantion remolded too! if this is the best hood buy the word of mouth... i hate to see what the worst is. the hood sits on the side of my house now to remind me what a piece of crap it was. :p soon to be riddled with .45 bullets :D

Glasstek makes parts. I have had several of their hoods and their glass is first rate but turn around is slow becuase everything is made to order.
