    This is a follow up to my post of "Got the headers installed finally". Just came back from the muffler shop! They did a great job of running the duals using 2" pipe with an H-pipe and dual Magnaflow XL turbo mufflers. It sounds great! Nice throaty tone at idle and mellows out at freeway speed. No more deafening resonance on the freeway. Check out the pics. :clap:

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    cool nice. i wonder what a x pipe would sound like on a i6

    I tried making a sound clip with my camera but you could hardly hear it. Maybe I'll try again.:hmmm:

    No clearance issues at all. The muffler shop knew their stuff. My Mav did not have an e-brake when I got it and it still doesn't.

    coolest exhaust I have ever seenon a six cylinder. I thin I will be switching to the magnaflows too pretty soon. The Flowmaster sound is getting old. A friend of mone with a 390 in a falson switched from Flowmasters to magnaflows and sound much better. Quieter at idle but sounds mean under full throttle.
