Finally getting a maverick

    Its' a 1976 2 dr 200ci six with blue interior that originally belonged to a 90yr old women in florida (great condition) bought it from my best friend for $1500, his dads going to help me paint it and the only other thing i need is rims (want to find some factory steelies to put hubs caps on) and tires.

    I have a set of original '76 hub caps from my maverick i dont plan on ever using, you can pm me if your intrested. anyway that seems like a really cool find, old people's cars are always really nice(unless they were going blind :biglaugh: ) Good Luck with it:thumbs2: :Welcome:

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    nice shape... what was wrong with the paint?

    nothing the previous owners just painted over it a couple years ago but now that paint is chipping off so I'm gonna have to paint it again

    i'd skip the flames but flat black is always nice, thats what mine is lol. really good find though, im sure you know how hard it is to find a old car with that nice of a body this far north.

    yeah my first car was a 65' mustang coupe and I had to get rid of it because it was too much work
