I was reading a post awhile back about headers and there seemed to be a concensus that headers wouldn't really show much of a performance difference on a stock 6 cylinder. Well, in at least my case that isn't true. The hooker dual out headers with custom dual exhaust system netted a full 3 tenths improvement in et this weekend...everything remaining the same. I didn't even re-tune the carb yet. :bananaman
Man, I would never say 'never' on a set of headers. They help everything and anything. You realize that three tenths is roughly 30 hp. Probably a little less when you are talking about slower times... I wouldn't doubt you gained 15-20 rwhp. I'll get off my soapbox now. Can you tell I am a diehard header believer?
Gravity Asissted Hill Decent... you need a hill to get some speed going? lol a freind and i came up with that when we were young and in the air force, because he had a skylark that couldnt get out of its own way on a good day, and he needed GAHD in order to get some speed going... his car was over weight and under powered
