Well we’re finally ready to officially introduce ourselves to the forum and post up a couple pics. Our ’76 Maverick (currently 250 6 cyl) finally made it out of the paint/body shop. She debuted at her first cruise-in Saturday night in Ocala, FL, and to a swap meet show in Webster, FL on Sunday – where she took home plaques in both cases. We’ve still got much work to do (swap out seats for buckets, and the 302 build to begin, etc., etc.), but we’re pleased with her progress and enjoy having her as a daily driver. You’ll see what she looked like before as well (gobs of bondo courtesy of previous owner's kids), and when she got nailed by our neighbor’s tree prior to restoration. Kudos to the forum’s members who’ve contributed oodles of pertinent information – such a valuable resource and great folks to boot! Look forward to meeting some of you down the road.
Very nice job.I'm glad you saved it.Too many people scrap or part out these cars rather than saving them. Now the end resault is beautiful, good job. Derek.
