we are using the special interest class. the only others were the mercury class or the modified ford. not all of us have comets or heavily modified cars to compete in the modified class. most cars in there are HEAVILY modified.
That appeared to be the only option to me. So mine will go out tomorrow. Note to all, if it goes out before the 1st of May, it will save you $5, not a lot, but will buy you a cold drink or two! rk So how many are going so far??

hey ray, you need to bring your blue car down to give part-time some competition. draggon 13 and don carlson are coming but i don't know what their cars look like yet. it should be alot of fun. if we can come from orlando you can come in too. not to far, whats 400 miles give or take. any georgia boys interested in coming???? dm hines maybe???
That is too weird Jacksonville is where I just bought my Maverick from, flew down, bought it and drove it back to Maryland. Now there is anothe Maverick in Florida that I've been Eyeballing trying to talk the wife into buying it because when I brought mine home she liked it so much she said she'd like to have one. Unfortunetly she was only about half serious. Also I think one of the wife's best friends is coming up from Florida right around the time of that meet and comng to our house to spend a few days. I could buy the other Maverick. get her to send me the title, get the Historic Maryland tags and have the wife's friend drive it up to Maryland for me, would save me the cost of the flight down and save her the cost of the flight up here to visit with the wife and I could give the wifey the 6 cyl I have now and I could take th V8 Grabber that I am eyeballing that is currently in Florida for sale. Sound relaly good written on paper but I really doubt I could get the wife to go for it.
Guys, I would really love to come but unfortunately I have already committed to the Atlanta show/Mini meet May 4th - 6th. I don't think I'll be able to manage two long trips 2 weeks apart. It's really tough for me to get a couple days off not to mention the fact it gets pretty expensive to go out of town for 3-4 days. I wouldn't want to drive that far just to turn around and come back 1 day later. Maybe I can get a rain check and make plans to attend the next one. I really would like to be there. Dan Hines keeps kicking my butt anyway so we can't let him come. J/K...but his car is awesome. Anyway, I'll have to recoup from the Atlanta show so I can try my best to make it to Kentucky for the MCG Gathering. You know, I am having a mini-meet the first week of October that looks like it's going to be a good showing and it will be during Cruising-The-Coast. Maybe some of you guys might want to cruise on over here for that one. Then I would HAVE to come to yours!
don't feel alone in the butt kicking. part-time keeps kicking mine too. i am bringing a bucket of mud this time to pour on that yellow paint to try to hide it from the judges. haha
