Rearend Questions???

    explorers have 31 spline track locks the front diff's usually have 4:10's if anyones intrested. So how do you fit an 8.8 underneath there? Has anyone installed one?

    from what i have found out here. the explorer has an ofset diff. will have to mod to make it work.

    An 8.8" is also heavier than a 9".
    Wouldn't have thought so, but it is.
    You can take your 8" axles and tubes, weld them to a 9" housing center, then put Crown Vic discs on it and have a high end rear for a low end price.
