VIN #: What does it mean??

    Yes, but the previous owner (my brother Mark) said it didn't have those bumpers when he got he car, but they were rotted out so he took parts from the numerous other Mavs he had and replaced them. I don't know. But it definiely seems as though its a 74 now, thanks to the VIN. I honestly don't care for the larger crash bumpers, but I think they'll fit with the paint job I'm getting!

    It would take Lots of work and some welding to attach 74 bumpers to early cars ...

    The manufactured date said 11/73, which makes it a '74 model year, just like the vin says.
