That fine All original Grabber on Ebay. The one that is in FLA right now but was originally a Canadian Car??

I tried talking the wife into it for her to drive but she ain't biting and there's onlylike 12 minutes left. I was going to go to a max of $7,500 but she doesn't want one that bad.

    $7100 to Jesus7542, lucky bastard!!!

I would have snagged that car if I had seen it earlier. I already have $6000 into mine and it still has no interior, no seats, and 6 different colors of paint.

This would have gotten me WAY ahead in this project...

The car does look good at a glance, but there are many issues when you look.
I hate to say it, but my Sprint is like that.
Lots of dings and such, mine just doesn't have the rust that Grabber has.
Rust is something I never want to deal with again.
    Anything else I can handle.

Still, for the price he paid for that car, he is already light-years ahead of mine at $6000.

I would swap my drive train over, since I have invested most of my money there, but that would be a sweet ride with my stuff in that car...and a lot less bodywork and interior work than mine (still) needs:thumbs2:

Wonder what he is basing this on? I think its over priced but what I think really doesn't matter.

How about the size of the aftermarket fuel filter mounted on the shock tower, its huge. I'll bet this car has a rusty fuel tank.

maybe what makes it so desirable is that it's a boss 1972 maverick grabber??? also if the stitching where the seam came apart is no big deal. why didn't he fix it. i love the ads that say easy fix. if its so easy why don't you just fix it? if it sat for 25 years the rest of the stitching is probably about to go also. :hmmm:

I personally think that car has been wrecked or repainted, look at door striker on passenger side, kinda hard to see in pic, but its painted, ford never painted strikers the color of the car, i deffintly see some red flags on this car!

I agree...I paid 3K for my Sprint and it is 100% rust free with very few dents. It's going to be one of the easiest restorations I have ever done. I hate repairing rust worst than anything.
I still don't think it's that bad of a price but I would have had to see the car in person before I paid that much for it. Might find more rust than what's showing in the pics knowing where the car is from and where it presently is (both places known for rust).

Looks to me like bondo flaking off the rear quarter where all the rust is. Cool looking car....and I like the "combination" as well.
