hello everyone, i figured it was time to join this site rather than just "lurking" around I bought my wife a 77 maverick last year, it has the 250-I6 t and she would like a little more oomp, it already has springs up front to handle a v8, and I located a 302 v8 from a 83 lincoln that is in very good condition, so I guess it is time to get to work finding parts for the swap, anyone know of a good place to get frame and motor mounts? anyway should be an interesting summer.
frame mounts can be found here in the for sale section or ebay. Motor mounts can be gotten at any auto parts house. Good luck, keep us posted and welcome to the board!
Glad you came out of the closet (so to speak). You can get motor supports at most local parts stores. You might want to put a WTB ad in the classifieds here for the mounts. Good luck on the swap.
