Couple of progress pics

    OK, I know how you all like a few progress pics. Got a few things done and the Mav is ready to cruise this summer. The paper tube hood scoop is gone. Sorry Mavaholic. I still have it in case a tunnel ram should ever get bolted on. You never know. It attracted too much attention. Added a harwood hood scoop and functional air cleaner. Thanks to Rick Book for being the test case. Got my aluminum radiator installed. Yes Frank - I too spent about 5 minutes with a sawzall and laid waste to the original support. Actually wanted to move everything forward so that I can add an aluminum water pump later. The only aluminum ones for 460's are the long truck style. I am currently running a 69 T bird pump which is about 3/4" shorter. Bought 2 new tires for the front today. Came home from vacation and one was sitting on the rim with a drywall screw in it. Just glad it wasn't one of the rear tires. No more work on the Mav this summer until the house is painted.:mad:
