OK, I know how you all like a few progress pics. Got a few things done and the Mav is ready to cruise this summer. The paper tube hood scoop is gone. Sorry Mavaholic. I still have it in case a tunnel ram should ever get bolted on. You never know. It attracted too much attention. Added a harwood hood scoop and functional air cleaner. Thanks to Rick Book for being the test case. Got my aluminum radiator installed. Yes Frank - I too spent about 5 minutes with a sawzall and laid waste to the original support. Actually wanted to move everything forward so that I can add an aluminum water pump later. The only aluminum ones for 460's are the long truck style. I am currently running a 69 T bird pump which is about 3/4" shorter. Bought 2 new tires for the front today. Came home from vacation and one was sitting on the rim with a drywall screw in it. Just glad it wasn't one of the rear tires. No more work on the Mav this summer until the house is painted. Cleaver
Nice hood scoop! 'Glad it worked out for you. Sorry your tire got 'screwed'. I wish that was the worst of my worries.
