Why not paint the car to match the hood???
    :D
I think both your rides a very sharp! and it would look good even if it had cardboard for a hood!

Definitely let me know if you are going to sell the black if you ever get a blue one made. It would look awesome on my color car.

Just so you guys don't get me wrong. I like the way the car looks. Maverick Man has some bad ass Mavs and I envy him and think he is doing some awesome work and getting the Maverick some notice.

Now wouldn't that hood look sweet on this

Here is a radical idea to tie it all together:

Paint hood stripes on the hood to match the car. The hood stripes would be light blue...like the rest of the car.

i liked the comment somebody made earlier about taping off the grabber stripes and leave them carbon and paint the rest to match,, just my opinion but of course you could donate that purty hood to me and help me lose a couple of pounds off the nose of my car :D heck cant blame me for trying right??? lol

Yep ,I think striping it like the hood Craig posted would be cool,Just paint the blue part to match your car,and leave the stripes carbon fibre then the hood would not look so "added later" and you`d still be showing off the carbon fibre.:bananaman

    My opinion.

I was reading some car mag a while back, there was a picture of a 57 chevy. He had the fat and skinny look and could not even place at a show. He replaces his wheels with some $3000 18" and won a first place at his next show... Of cource his car is slower in the 1/4 mile. And spending $3000 for tires and wheels is not really hot rodding especally if it makes your car slower. I think hot rodds and even show cars should be "Built" not "Bought"

I like your hood, very cool! It improves the car. Lighter, stronger and fresh air for the engine. That's hot rodding. I think the wheels detract from the car. But then I dont really like the whole rubber band tire look. I guess I am too old to change.
