My mav squeaks like an old mattress. I think most of the noise is comming from the top of the shock towers.

How can I get lube where it needs it?

Usually its the upper a-arm bushings which could have a grease zerk fitting. Look towards the ends of the a-arm from under the fender. Some cars even have a torched hole in the tower where the bushings were replaced and instead of a 90-degree zerk it had a straight zerk. These can be greased from inside the engine bay. If you can grease it... try, otherwise the bushings probably need to be replaced.
