? 5.0 in 1970 maverick

    would i have to remove strut supports to fire wall to put a 5.0 from a 1994 t-bird into a 1970 maverick

    If you want to leave it fuel injected with the ClamShell intake on top you will ... pretty sure it won't fit with the braces.

    it wont fit. im in the process of installing a 5.0 from a '92 cougar and have found that they will not clear with the fuel injection manifold. i plan to make my own :D good luck :thumbs2:

    click on the photo icon under my name and look at the struts in my engine bay. would something likr that work? they are from MPG Head in denver. about $150:)

    unless you want a carb'd 5.0 the strut braces will definatly be in the way
