question about a 70 maverick

    I own a 1970 maverick and a 1994 t-bird would any one know if the 5.0 from the t-bird would fit in the maverick :bananaman :hmmm:

    You will need 302 frame and motor mounts. Then its a bolt in deal.

    The transmission in your '70 likely has the 170/200 6 cylinder bell housing pattern also. What drivetrain is currently in the Maverick?

    Then of course you will need factory V8 Maverick manifolds or aftermarket Maverick specific headers. Would be best to get rid of that 7.5 rearend in that '70 also, upgrade to a 8 inch 5 lug from a later model Maverick donor car and front disc brakes.
