went to my favorite boneyard today. they crushed about three weeks ago. they crushed the carcusses of three mavs. they were picked to the bone. but they have three new ones to go with the three they still have. one is a 4dr. ldo v8. it has bucket seats (fair). they have a 70' with a perfect pass. dr. i will probley go back and get it. i told myself no but i don't listen to what i tell myself. i saw a chrome remote drivers mirrow. the first chrome one i have seen. the yard is south of atlanta, ga. i went looking for one thing and came back with something else. i know that hasn't happened to any of you...frank...:bananaman :bananaman L.T.N.G.

    YAWN

i do write the most bizzare things when i am still asleep!!!!!!!as i see it, and i'll never admit it to the wife, the fun isn't buying what you came for. it is finding that one (or 2 or 3 or 4 .....) little jewel that somehow ALWAYS has my name on it. calling me..."scott-take me home. i would look good on your (or somebody elses') mav!"

yeah i am starting to think "mavaholic"is more than a nickname for dennis. it is a condition that can't be cured. sometimes women can control it a little but there is no real hope. i am hooked

Yes, I have heard there is a real potential for getting addicted to these cars! I don't know how many steps it takes to cure, but I think it might be impossible!

(Of course, I would never know anything about the disease personally).:D

there is no medication to help either. i mean... there is beer to help cope with wives that don't see it our way. beer also works well when i have issues with her shopping. you know- going to just get a pair of slacks and she ends up buying half the store... unlike us who only buy at a junkyard what our pickup trucks will hold.

    71gold,

Just out of curiosity, that 70 wouldn't happen to have the plastic with the heater vents in it, would it? I need a replacement for both sides of my 70. If it does, what is the possibility of you nabbing them for me?

I need the tray vents. Someone broke mine trying to install a stereo. Looks like they put different vents in it too as the ones in mine are square and its my understanding that the 70-72 had round vents.

The tray is fine on mine, so all i need is the plastic with the vents in them.

they look good, but I also need the plastic they sit in. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.

If you have all of it, I am very interested. Let me know.

You have to have an AC package tray for those vents....as those vents were only used on a factory AC car. A non-AC package tray is different.
