I hope to run 9.90s with a stock bench, stock firewall, stock frame rails, stock block, stock suspension, stock unmodified shock towers, and drag radials. Think I can do it guys?

Your talkin about 600 fwhp in a car that weighs around 3000 lbs, on a "stock" block...I'd be a little leary of that. just my :2cents: worth.

Well, we scaled the car and it weighed 2480 with out the cage and me (I weight 130) in it. Remember, the motor made 656 with a .022 nitrous jet.....

I think it can at least go nines with this block, once. :D

    Ok buddy, here goes...
    Can it be done, yes.

Now, I hope you can do it. :) Throw 50 or 100 lbs in the trunk, and leave on the button. And make sure you don't rev her to the moon!

BTW, what gears and rear are in there?(y)

125 pounds is already in the trunk and I shift at 7500. For right now, on motor I will race with my 4.62 gear-equipped 8-inch (axles & spool) until it breaks. I have a story already in the works called "8.8 For Any Car." I have a housing from the junkyard that we will be adapting to the car with all the tricks applied to it.

Now that I think of it, I'd really I'd be happy with a 6.40 in the 8th (10 ohs I think) because that way I'd only have to have a 8 point.
