After all the B.S. I had to go through to get a Texas Title and Registration, I wonder if these guys could've saved me some headaches (842 trips to the DMV)? Probably - but for a price. Depending on how much, it might well have been worth it though. Twice, while in line at the DMV, I saw one guy who had a stack of envelopes. It appeared he was getting registration for a lot of cars at one time. I wondered then if he was an "agent" for a company such as this one. "At Broadway Title Company, we can help get new automobile titles issued for vehicles that have no current title. We can also help you obtain a title for most any vehicle that you may have lost the title to. We belong to and help members of several car clubs when they need a car title. Broadway Title Company is a member of the NIADA and most all of the national car clubs. Basically, they act as a small dealership and issue you a bill of sale for your car. They basically buy your car and sell it back to you, on paper of course. Many states will accept a bill of sale and turn it into a title for you. Keep in mind that these guys and others like them have been at it a long time, and many states have modified their laws in issueing titles off of a bill of sale, especially since the creation of salvage titles. They make work great for you, but I would check with your state to see if they will honor a BOS first. MN does not issue salvage titles, so they will no longer use a BOS as a valid document. MN is one of the few that doesn't though, and every state will vary. I bought a vintage motorcycle years ago and used Broadway, and before the laws changed it worked great.
They quoted me a price of $149 to get a title for a Galaxie I recently acquired, said that they're dmv was so backed up now that it would be 8-10 week wait.
