Ran into bit of a pickle today... top light on the drivers side isn't working.
    works fine with high-beams though...
checked out all the wires and didn't find anything mangled...
worked fine for as long as i've owned it, but did get alot of rain the other day that may have soaked something.
    anyone have any ideas?

im sure someone here can lend some advice but this website its self if geared towards the 71-77 comet generation. im not sayin youn not welcome here, its just that you'll probably have a hard time finding the specific info you may looking for

wish i could help but electrical is a PITA for me anyway. spent a month tracing wires in my olds trying to get the high and low beams to function properly

    goodluck

Sounds like you need to replace the headlight.

Ditto. The low beam headlight on a 4 headlight system has a high beam and low beam element in it, and it just sounds like your low beam element burned out. Replace it and you should be fine.
