Hi I'm Chris and I am a Mav-a-holic. lol. Actually i am new to Mavericks and it has been years since i have actually saw one especially around here. Over the weekend i was at a scrap yard with a friend and i saw the back of a 1970 Maverick sticking out from between 2 other cars. I ask the guy that owned the place "does it run"? He said yes. So we pulled it out (it was parked for 5 years) toped up all the fluids, added 2 gallons of fresh gas primed the carb, first turn of the key it started. The body is in good shape the interior is bad, (mice damage) and the engine idles awesome. I asked how much he said $300. I gave him the 300 and drove it home. Now the fun starts, but its worth it. It was love at first sight. I took pictures of it and as soon as i figure how to post them i will.
well guys i got the exaust sounding almost the way i want it to and today is going to be the frist actual drive since igot it, wish me luck.
