lacr closing

    well, californians, another drag strip is closing. i have heard that the bernieplex at lacr in palmdale will be closing for good on july 29th. :(

    Man that's a shame. Never been there, but have heard stories of good times from LACR. Makes me wonder if sportsman drag racing is dying, and what is the reason for so many tracks closing?

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    yep property is worth too much out there now.

    not that, that track was great or anything... dust, crosswind and the long ass drive from most so cal areas. oh well more street racing for valley guys!

    we still have irwindale and fontucky.
