I am interested in knowing if there are any significant differences in the gauge cluster over the years. Did they all use the 120mph speedometer? Are the inidicator lights the same in all years? Positions of the idot lights the same? Same idiot lights in use?

whitegaugeguy at aol dot com is interested so that he can be sure the gauge kits are correct for each year Maverick/Comet. Here is his message to me.

    hi jay,

I always try to get e-mails done as soon as possible.
    gotta love computer technology! lol
I am glad to hear that everyone likes these overlays.

Do you know if there was ever a factory tach in the maverick?
maybe in the grabbers? also, were ever any different speedos?

I always try to make each vehicles set that I sell, complete so that
one set will do any clsuter.

    thanks,

    Ron

Any feedback would be appreciated.

BTW, I have just purchased 2 sets of these for my 70 and my 72.

    :)

:D Guess with all the smog stuff they figured the later years didn't need big speedometers.

Anyone have a spare 75 - 77 speedo that they could send to the WhiteGaugeGuy so he can make overalys for them? Here is his message in reply to telling him that the 75-77's were 100MPH.

    email WhiteGaugeguy@aol.com if so.

Hopefully, we will be able to add one more part availble for Maverick/Comet guys.

    Hi Jay,

i got the paypal jsut fine. thanks!
on the speedo, inorder to make the 100mph availabel also, I would need and actuall
speedometer in order to make the template for the overlay.
If you knwo of anyone who has a spare or wants to loan thiers for a few days,
it would be returned undamaged along with a free set of overlays!
this way I can included both speedos in the set and have all the mavericks covered :)
    thanks,
    Ron

    I guess I missunderstood.
    I thought you were joking.
    Overlays for digitals gauges?
You'll have a hard time changing the background color on an LCD screen with a sticker.
