    '73 Maverick soon to be grabber clone
    has anyone tried the black maverick valve covers they have on ebay? good bad? i kinda like the way they look.

    You can get them straight through Autokrafters website/catalog...

    I think autokrafters are the ones primarily selling the ebay ones anyway.

    they are about 169.00 a pair...

    my question is, will a set of stud girdles fit underneath them? anybody? anybody?

    i don't think stud girdles will fit because of the breather tube in them. i do have a set of the crane gold roller rockers on mine. the breather tube did come loose in mine i had to tack it back on, but no problems since.:)

    I had a set of those on my motor, the roller tip rocker arms I was using at the time would just hit them. When I switched to full roller rocker arms I also went with a set of taller valve covers.
