I'm getting tried of changing these things, I don't know if its my mav or the Autozone alternators? What would cause them to stop charging after a few months? The only good thing is it hasn't cost me anything but time so far! Has anyone else had this problem?:hmmm:

I believe that this would be the way to go J. Hope. I have never heard any complaints from people that have converted. Good Luck!! Take Care! Preston

Ok, I give How hard is it to convert to a GM alternator?

Well, Its sounds like that is what I need to do, but I not quite sure on how to make that work. Does anyone have a thread or a diagram on how to make that conversion?:hmmm:

I used a 3G alternator that I bought off of ebay. It came with instruction that were ok. You can get a monster 160 amp version which is what I used. They also have ones that are over 200 amps, but as it is when my 160 has a big drain on it my belt squeals like mad!
