I don't have any problem with you "kids" doing burnouts, as long as you are safe about it...

That's the "cool" part. I didn't do anything to it. Go figure...

I still need to adjust the valves, and I think the floats in the Holley need adjusting too. Timing is at 14-initial...

Age is just a number, if it's in your blood, it's in your blood..... young or old...thats why everyone gets along so well at the meets. Its a common bond.

    now, for neat stories,

my dad did a 20 sec brake stand on the concrete floor inside his work building with my Mav....

it was the weekend, he had the shop keys ;)

oh, and by the way.... smooth concrete will kill your tires in a brakestand...absolutely murder them... it builds up so much grip and heat after a few secs that it litterally pulls chunks out of your tread.... I mean, big ole' dibits.... lmao... then he says..." you need a new tire" what are you going to tell your mom? huh? punk?

Hahaha i was like 17 then.

shortly thereafter: I got a wreckless driving speeding ticket in the Maverick, and found my place at the dragstrips. Oh, and we didn't just go to his shop to do the burnout, we were installing the PST front end kit, we were just using the shop for the amenities...* cough** cough**
