Yep a small tranny leak is probally the fluid coming out of the vent. You can take the vent out and tap it for a AN fitting and run a braided line to a breather. That will solve a lot of problems. [/B][/QUOTE]

Is there any way that I could get a picture of this, before I attepmt it? I have a spare (old) C-4, and I thought that I would use the little cap off of it to drill and everything. Is it possible to do this without dropping the tranny? I REALLY don't want to fight that thing again. (My headers make tranny removal a PAIN!) Just wondering if somebody can give me dummy directions on how to do this. Thanks a bunch, Country

If you ever get the chance, put it on a chassis dyno. They usually are at major car shows and costs between $50 to $100. Its well spent money and then you will know how far you should rev it.

    oil pressure

I just had my 302 rebuilt and is also .0040 over. My oil pressure is running about the same as yours is. 60-70 on the road and 40 or so at stop signs.

I haven't had the chance to take any pics of the engine since I got it rebuilt I do have some or it before but there nothing realy to look at. If I get a new pic I'll post them both as before and after. As for the rest of the car it looks well....like....crap. but at least its a Maverick.
