I have the rpm airgap on my 347 with a holley 1460 750 vacuum sec. and electric choke carb. what air cleaner assembly will fit under my grabber hood? yet still breathe adequately.

i was using a 14 x 3" chrome assembly before on my 600 cfm edelbrock performer and a performer 289 intake... and it was way close then. now with the airgap and holley i am way up.. old setup was about 8" up from block, now i am 9.5" around abouts... and a 1.5" filter isn't going to cut it.

    any help would be great...

oh, and i have the doug herbert hei dist, so it can't be over 6 inches long to the front.

I have a Airgap intake, demon carb, and a 14 x 3" drop base filter. the airfilter wing nut will just barely touch and scratch the paint on the bottom of the hood. i don't know if the holley is taller than the demon or not. hope this helps
