I hear ya! In a high profile car like yours its good for the cops to see that you "support them" when they are riding behind you!

drive it as much as i can only about 1300 miles on the motor and trans, runs real strong raced a few cars on the street that run in the mid to high 11's in the 1/4 did not have a lot of trouble leaving them, with no roll cage can't take it to the track and make a full run they will toss me out the frames are tide and the torque boxs and front frame have been beefed up Thanks there is some body work that needs to be done the Hood lip is bad, but for now it will do the paint has a good gloss to it so till i save the $$ to get the paint and body done going back with the same yellow and with the grabber stripes

just wondering what the requirements for historical plates in your state. in CA all the car has to be is 25 years old and then you don't have to smog it. well your only supposed to drive it to and from events (car shows etc.)

    just wondering...

I don't wanna talk about leaks

My headers leak bad. Problem is, to change the gasket, I would have to pull the engine. And that is N-O-T gonna happen! So I just let it leak. (Breathe, baby, breathe:rolleyes: ) Country

Why would you have to pull the motor to change exhaust manifold gaskets?? I've never seen a maverick/comet that required you to pull the motor to change manifold gaskets??

    Well...

I'm thinking that the bolts that I used are too long to be backed out completely. I believe that they will hit the shock towers first. Hopefully I am wrong, but it is a VERY close fit. But ya'll already know that:p . I dunno.......... Country

Grabber thats a fine ride...I cant get the sound file to load:mad:
    bummer.
I went to get plates the other day and asked the woman about classic plates... she says oh yea...your car qualifies, but you can only drive it in parades and to shows if you get them...I said you gotta be joking and looked at her like she was stupid.
But the plate was 11 bucks so I didnt complain too much:rolleyes:

    Amen!

All I gotta say is "I Heard Dat" But actually I don't think that a line of patrol cars with lights flashing in "pursuit" qualifies as a "parade".:D Although it would be a "show" Just kidding!;) Country
