I want to thank everyone who attended the Roundup Nationals and helped to make it a huge success.   We all have a common interest in the greatest cars ever made but when it comes down to it, we get together to be with the great people of this club. It was nice seeing my Maverick family again and also meeting new members of my family. Donna, Amber, and Brook had a great time and are already talking about next year. I take with me a lot of great memories: saving Craigs life, meeting Paul from Brazil and learning more about Brazilian Mavericks, going on a cruise with Dave, eating lots of ice cream with Doug, D.C. bus trip, Air and space museum, watching Donna and Effie go down the drag strip in Spookie with their pom poms, staying up late every night with Doug and Dale, eating and drinking for three people, and taking Brook down the drag strip with her arms up the air and her screaming like she was riding a roller coaster. 360 more days till the next roundup!! I can't wait!! ;) :yahoo:

Thanks to Nick for a fine job! We just got home after driving the 928 miles in about 15.75 hours. Hit a little rain near D.C. and had a big detour in Indiana on interstate 74 which was shut down due to an accident. Cant wait for next year!

    Super!

What a great time! I hope everyone made it home safe. We took a wrong turn, ended up in Leesburg and got a flat on the trailor but got home safe and that's the main thing.

    Thanks NICK!

Thanks again Nick for hosting the Roundup. I enjoyed closing the parking lot down with you and Doug. :D The Air and Space Museum was cool. It offers some new ideas on what engine or spoiler to put in/on a project car. It was good to see everybody familiar, and to meet up with some new faces as well.
