From what I see in the pics, it looks to be a restoreable car. I'd look close at the roof, appears to be a good bit of surface rust. Also check the torque boxes, floors, the area where the battery mounts, and get down under the back of the car and look up at flat area behind the quarters on either side for rust through. Take a couple gallons of water and poor it in the vents at the base of the windsheild, see if it comes out in the floor boards inside the car or not.

If you get the info off the sticker inside the door jam, we can decode that for you also, and tell you what color the car originally was (inside and out), where it was bought new, what rearend and transmission it has, stuff like that.

And Craig is right about the VIN, the F on either end is not part of the actual VIN. The VIN is 2K91F144268.

I bought my '72 daily driver in Charlotte, NC. The notary seal on the title had gone bad, the title was no good. I had to have a cop come out to my house and run the VIN. When it came back clean, she filled out a form stating the car had no liens or anything against it. I got that form notarized, and got the car registered. Georgia is a non title state for any car older then 1986, so I still do not have a good title for the car, but it is registered.

Looks like a great start! Not ugly at all! Heck it even has a yellow ribbon tied to it! You gotta take it home! Good Luck!
