...in a place where it is so HOT that just going out to start the mav is an adventure? Mine hasn't been run in about 3-4 weeks, just because it is so damned HOT that it is not worth my while to go out and see if it still runs I'm gonna go out and start it, and rev it til the neighbors call the cops. It has been TOO LONG since it has ran. BTW...it is currently 95 degrees(at 4pm)...cooling down from a high of 96 today, similar to the rest of the preceding week...
not usually horrible hot,...but the heat index was around 108 today,.... and I was out mowing the yard, then welding for a bit. so its a little warm, so what?....buck up,..... go start your car and have fun
It's been in the 90's all week with high humidity as an extra added bonus. You know it's bad when the minute you step out of the shower, you instantly start sweating again. Can you say icky, sticky and yucky? We finally had to break down and turn on the air conditioners. I'm almost afraid to see the electric bill next month. Today, it's cloudy, rainy and raw. The tempeture made it up to a blazing 65 degrees. After all those days in the 90's, it feels down right cold outside.
Its not so much the heat here in virginia as much as its the humiditiy. Even at night it feels like your breathing in buckets of water.
I don't want to hear any of this...try 110 ACTUAL temperatures at 5 pm and the evenings drop down to a balmy 90! It's a stinking desert! Go figure? But yes, I can relate...haven't touched the car since the humidity (monsoons) kicked up a couple weeks ago.
Omaha - Haven't opened the garage or messed with the Mav for about 3 weeks because of the heat. Well not really the heat, but the HUMIDITY!! Born in Phoenix where it's hot but not as humid as this place, sheeesh!!
High humidity and high 90's all week, 100+ yesterday, 100+ today, suppose to be 100+ tomorrow, and about 103+ Sunday, then more high 90's to low 100's for several days after...Aqualung level humidity.....no garage, I haven't been able to work on my Mavs, or any other car for weeks.
My A/C quit yesterday in Weatherford, Tx. I slept last night in puddles of sweat. Drove home today from Waxahatchie, Tx with the windows down as far as I could stand the buffeting. So you wanna talk about HOT? To top it all off, I caught a stomach viris from my wife before I left, and haven't been able to eat all day today, just drink liquids. So yes, I was miserable. Now I'm home and the A/C feels so good....
YA scooper looks like it will be 102 to 103 all week here in dallas, and a cool 80 at night. we realy can fry eggs on the sidewalk no yok!! And as for cuting grass thats are bizz here we do 50 to 60 yards a day with two trucks. (FORD TRUCKS). I just say all day need new COOL parts for the MAV. HAHA.
